ROCKVILLE, Md., May 28, 2019–-Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro made the following statement on behalf of the Council on the passing of Steve Goldstein, Chief of Staff to Councilmember Craig Rice.
“It is with deep sadness that I offer my heartfelt condolences to the family of Steve Goldstein, who passed away peacefully at home on May 27th, 2019. Steve was a treasured member of our Council team, as he ably led the office of Councilmember Craig Rice for the past eight years. He was a terrific Council colleague, who faithfully fulfilled his duties as he fought his battle with ALS. We were all impressed by his positive attitude and the dignity with which he chose to live his life. Each of us have been touched by Steve’s kindness, and he will be terribly missed.”
