ROCKVILLE, Md., July 15, 2020—Montgomery County Council President Sidney Katz will host the tenth installment in his ongoing series of virtual business briefings for County residents on Friday, July 17 at 12:30 p.m. The briefing will take place on the online communications platform Microsoft Teams.
Council President Katz will be joined by Maryland Secretary of Commerce Kelly Schulz, who will discuss Maryland’s Road to Recovery Plan and the state’s business response to Covid-19 pandemic.
“Montgomery County and the state of Maryland have been collaborating from the beginning of the Covid-19 public health crisis to promote public health and safety and to ensure that residents, local businesses and nonprofits experiencing financial hardship due to the pandemic have access to state and federal assistance,” said Council President Katz. “I am pleased to be joined by Maryland Secretary of Commerce Kelly Schulz, who will discuss the economic recovery plan for Maryland and areas where we will collaborate going forward.”

Residents must register ahead of time by emailing [email protected] to participate. Residents will receive the link to attend the briefing by email when they register.
