For Immediate Release: Tuesday, January 21, 2020
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold a public meeting to brief the community on and receive feedback about the 1,000-foot Capital Crescent Trail Tunnel underneath Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. This project provides for the design and construction of the tunnel, adjacent to a future Purple Line station, and will connect pedestrians and bicyclists to downtown Silver Spring safely by providing an option to crossing Wisconsin Avenue, one of the busiest roads in downtown Bethesda.
