The following is the regional transportation schedule for New Year’s Eve, Friday, Dec. 31, and New Year’s Day, Saturday, Jan. 1:

County Offices - Closed.
Ride On - Operates on a Sunday schedule on Dec. 31. Operates on a Saturday schedule on Jan. 1 (view routes here).
Ride On extRa and Flex - Not in service.
Ride On Flash - Operates on a weekend schedule (Orange Line only).
TRiPS Commuter Store at Silver Spring Transit Center - Closed.
TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store - Closed.
Metrorail and Metrobus - Metrorail operates 7 a.m. - 1 a.m. and Metrobus operates on a Sunday schedule on Dec. 31. Metrorail operates 7 a.m. - midnight and Metrobus operates a normal Saturday schedule on Jan. 1 (more information here).
MARC Train - No service on the Camden or Brunswick Lines, the Penn Line will operate on a Saturday schedule on Dec. 31. No train service on Jan. 1 (more information here).
MTA Local and Commuter Buses - No service except for route 201 (Gaithersburg-BWI Business Dist.) that operates on a Weekend/Holiday schedule on Dec. 31 (more information here).
Parking at Bethesda, Silver Spring and Wheaton Public Garages, Lots and Curbside Meters - Free.
