For Immediate Release: Monday, February 10, 2025
On Monday, March 3, at 7 p.m., the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold a virtual (online) public information meeting to discuss the proposed Gregg Road Bridge rehabilitation project (Bridge No. M-0119) over the Hawlings River tributary in Brookeville. The public will have an opportunity to provide comments and ask questions.
The Gregg Road Bridge Rehabilitation project provides for the restoration of the existing bridge, which was constructed in 1958 and is in poor condition. MCDOT is working proactively to rehabilitate the bridge before it becomes a safety hazard.
At the public meeting, MCDOT will present project details, costs and the project schedule. MCDOT will also obtain public comments and answer questions. Public input is encouraged and may influence the final design of the project.
To attend the virtual meeting, please register online. After registering, the Zoom platform will send attendees an email containing the Zoom link and passcode needed to attend the virtual meeting.
The public is encouraged to visit the project website and provide feedback via the online comment form or via email to the Project Manager, Rashid Abramov at [email protected]. Written comments carry the same weight as oral comments expressed at the meeting. All information provided will become a matter of public record.
Interpreter services will be provided upon request with five business days advance notice. To request interpreter services, email Lori Main at [email protected] or call 240-777-7271 no later than Friday, Feb. 28.
