Corona Extra is the top-selling beer in Montgomery County, Barefoot wines are the leading wine sellers and Tito’s Handmade Vodka is the most popular spirit, according to 2019 sales results released for the first-time ever by Montgomery County’s Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS).
The lists are based on sales dollars through the ABS warehouse to private restaurants, privately owned beer and wine stores and the 25 County-operated liquor and wine retail stores.

“It’s interesting to know what’s trending and it is important for business owners to know what people are drinking,” said ABS Director Bob Dorfman.
Generating approximately $35 million in profits annually, ABS profits are used to both pay off County debt, and a large portion is deposited in the Montgomery County General Fund to pay for services that tax dollars would otherwise fund.
