Planning Board to Review Metropolitan Branch Trail as Part of Bicycle Master Plan Review

For Immediate Release: Thursday, May 12, 2016

The Montgomery County Planning Board is scheduled to review plans for the Metropolitan Branch Trail, between Montgomery College and the Silver Spring Transit Center, on Thursday, May 19. This project would:

1) Extend the Metropolitan Branch Trail from Montgomery College to the Silver Spring Transit Center;

2) Construct a new trail tunnel under Burlington Avenue; and

3) Construct a new trail bridge over Georgia Avenue.
