MCDOT extends the life of roads by making timely repairs. Staff preserve pavement on primary and arterial roadways by repairing concrete, patching, removing one to two inches of roadway surface and then paving with hot mix asphalt.
Arlington Road, between Bradley Boulevard and Old Georgetown Road, in Bethesda will be resurfaced starting in June. The project will take about five weeks to complete, weather permitting. To minimize inconvenience to the public, work will occur between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and at night between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
