MCDOT Activating Storm Operations Center at 4 a.m. Thursday, February 9

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, February 8, 2017

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Montgomery County, which goes into effect from 1 to 9 a.m. Thursday, February 9 that could result in one to three inches of snow. Little accumulation is expected because of the area's recent warm temperatures, but roads could be coated with snow before the precipitation ends around 10 a.m.

MCDOT's Storm Operations Center will activate and Highway depot staff will mobilize at 4 a.m. to prepare for the storm.
