A Portion of Sundown Road Will Close This Weekend for Emergency Repairs

For Immediate Release: Thursday, February 9, 2017

 

This weekend, MCDOT will replace a storm drain pipe along a portion of Sundown Road in Laytonsville. The closure will begin Friday evening, February 10 and the repairs are expected to take 24 to 36 hours to complete. In case of inclement weather, the repairs will occur the following weekend. Laytonsville Road (MD 108) and Damascus Road (MD 650) will remain open. Detour signs will be posted to guide residents around the road closure.
