Public Invited to Provide Input on Alignment for Interim Option Once the Georgetown Branch Trail is Closed for Purple Line Construction

Construction of the Purple Line and Capital Crescent Trail will require closure of the existing Georgetown Branch Trail to ensure public safety during construction activity.  MCDOT is planning an interim route to the Georgetown Branch Trail while the trail is closed. 

MCDOT is seeking input on the interim trail alignment at an open house to be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  The open house will be held in Room B of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center, which is located at 4805 Edgemoor Lane in Bethesda.
