MCDOT to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed New Sidewalks in Wheaton Hills

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, April 5, 2017

MCDOT will hold a public hearing to seek input about a proposal to build new sidewalks in the Wheaton Hills Community in Wheaton. The hearing is planned for Tuesday, April 18 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Highland Elementary School All Purpose Room, 3100 Medway Street, Silver Spring. MCDOT is recommending sidewalks for:

• Galt Avenue from Veirs Mill Road/MD 586 to Henderson Avenue
• Blueridge Avenue from Grandview to Parker avenues
• Dawson Avenue from Newport Mill Road to Galt Avenue
• Parker Avenue from Newport Mill Road to Avena Street
• Hardy Avenue from Judson Road to Ivanhoe Street
• Henderson Avenue from Galt Avenue to Georgia Avenue/MD 97
