Ride On Assists During SafeTrack Surge 16

To assist WMATA, MCDOT’s Ride On used five buses to shuttle 1,000 passengers a day during the most recent Surge that closed the Shady Grove and Rockville Metrorail stations for about a week. Read more about other ways MCDOT assisted.

Spring Street Separated Bike Lanes Under Construction

MCDOT Makes Going Car Lite or Car Free Easier by Providing Parking Spaces for Zipcar

MCDOT has designated 55 on-street, lot and garage parking spaces in Bethesda, Silver Spring, Wheaton, North Bethesda and Friendship Heights to Zipcar vehicles. Check locations online.

SoberRide Offering Free Rides on Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4

The Washington Region Alcohol Program’s (WRAP) 2017 Independence Day SoberRide program will be offering free rides on Lyft of up to $15 between 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 4 and 2 a.m., Wednesday, July 5.  Read more.
