The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) plans the following road closures this weekend:

Outer loop of I-495 between Seminary Road and the I-270 spur – Resurfacing project - Single and double lane closures from 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Seminary Road Bridge over I-495 – Routine bridge inspection - Single lane closures Saturday between 4 a.m. and 12 noon.
Grosvenor Road Bridge over I-270 – Routine bridge inspection - Double lane closures Sunday between 4 a.m. and 12 noon.
Southbound MD 355 (Wisconsin Avenue) between Norfolk Avenue and Bethesda Avenue – Building demolition/hauling operation by private contractor – Southbound MD 355 to be closed, as well as the right lane on northbound MD 355, beginning at 11 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday.
MD 355 (Rockville Pike) between Wilson Drive and Woodmont Avenue - Montgomery County Crossing Project clearing and curb work - Single and double lane closures in each direction beginning Friday at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday.

Also look for lane closures in the following areas related to other longer term SHA projects:

US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures weekdays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 p.m. Weekend work may occur between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., and occasional evening work also may take place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Inner and outer loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) Bridge over MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) - Bridge cleaning and painting - Single lane closures weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and daily Sunday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning.
MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) at MD 28 (Norbeck Road) – Intersection improvement project/utility relocation - Single lane closures weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and each daily Sunday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning.
MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) at Lincoln Drive – Utility work/private - Single and double lane closures in each direction Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September 16.
MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) between Johnson Avenue and Sonoma Road - Sidewalk ramp construction, utility work and concrete bus pad installations - Single and double lane closures weekdays from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and weekends (for concrete work) Fridays beginning at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Mondays.
