MCDOT to Close Portion of Jones Mill Road on Saturday, August 26 for Emergency Repairs

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will close a small section of Jones Mill Road near its intersection with Black Chestnut Lane for one day only to replace a storm drain pipe. Weather permitting, the project is expected to take no more than 24 hours to complete.

 

Crews will close the road section at 6 a.m. on Saturday, August 26 and reopen it at about 8 p.m.

 

Staff have posted road closure and detour signs and drivers and pedestrians are advised to seek an alternative route.
