The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is planning the following lane closures this weekend:

• Outer loop of I-495 between Seminary Road and the I-270 spur – Resurfacing - Single and double lane closures between 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.

• Inner and outer loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) Bridge over MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) - Bridge cleaning and painting - Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sundays through Thursdays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) at MD 28 (Norbeck Road) – Intersection improvement project/utility relocation - Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Sundays through Thursdays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) at Lincoln Drive – Utility work/private - Single and double lane closures in each direction Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September 16.

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) between White Drive and MD 390 (16th street) - Resurfacing. Single and double lane closures, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) between Johnson Avenue and Sonoma Road - Sidewalk ramp construction, utility work and concrete bus pad installations - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and weekends (for concrete work) Fridays beginning at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Mondays.

• MD 355 (Rockville Pike) between Wilson Drive and Woodmont Avenue - Montgomery County Crossing Project - Single and double lane closures in each direction beginning Friday at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday.

• US 29 (Colesville Road) between I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) - WSSC water line replacement project - Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Weekend lane closures are possible between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

• MD 188 (Wilson Lane) from Aberdeen Road to Rayburn Road. Private/commercial water main work. Flagging operation (no lane closures). Sat. 9/9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
