Montgomery County Announces Date for Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Reopen the Montgomery County Public Libraries’ Quince Orchard Branch

County Executive Ike Leggett invites residents to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, December 16 beginning at 10 a.m. to celebrate the grand reopening of the newly refreshed Montgomery County Public Libraries’ Quince Orchard Branch, located at 15831 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg.

The refresh for the library includes new flooring and painting throughout the library, redesigned public restrooms, new Information and Checkout customer service desks, a new book drop, enhancements to the meeting room, new furniture and workstations in public and workroom areas and exterior improvements to the grounds and parking lot, including a new bike rack at the entrance.

The Quince Orchard Chapter of the Friends of the Library will serve refreshments immediately following the ceremony.

Branch hours starting Sunday, December 17 will be:  Sunday 1-5 p.m., Monday -Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
