Managing Personal Finances Over the Holidays
and Winter Activities in Montgomery County
are Focus of Council’s Radio America Show

ROCKVILLE, Md., Dec. 7, 2017— Daniel Parra, Director of the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation, Arie Baker, Special Assistant to the Director of the Montgomery County Parks Department, and Carmen Berrios, spokesperson for the Montgomery County Department of Recreation are the featured guests on this week’s episode of En Sintonía con el Concejo del Condado de Montgomery (Tuned in with the Montgomery County Council), this Friday at 2:30 p.m. on Radio America (WACA 1540AM). Daniel Parra will provide tips and information on managing personal finances over the holiday season. Arie Baker will talk about the many holiday and winter activities available in County parks, and Carmen Berrios will provide information about holiday recreational activities.

The Montgomery County Council and Radio America have entered a partnership that provides the Latino community with key information on issues and programs. The partnership also provides a forum for residents to express views and ask questions. The partnership includes the weekly one-hour show each Friday on the Washington metropolitan area’s most popular Spanish language station. Lilian Mass is the show’s host.
Each week, the show features guests talking about important issues before the Council and provides information about programs offered by the County to help residents.
