Library Lovers Month to Kick Off Celebrations at Aspen Hill Library, February 3

Library Lovers Month, an annual month-long celebration which showcases the importance of libraries in Montgomery County, will kick off at the Aspen Hill branch of Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) on February 3 at 11 a.m. The branch is located at 4407 Aspen Hill Road, Rockville.


This year’s theme, Mad About Science, aims to foster a love of reading, science, and exploration. The event will feature an interactive STEM show and a hands-on booth “Bubbling Potions and Explosions” by Mr. Bond’s Science Guys.


Throughout the month of February, MCPL will host multiple free activities at branches throughout the County. For more information about the events, go to FOLMC calendar of events.


The Library Lovers Month Kickoff is presented in partnership with Friends of Library Montgomery County, Friends of the Library Aspen Hill Chapter, Montgomery County Library Board and Montgomery County Public Libraries.
