Montgomery Council President Riemer to meet with media on

Monday, Feb. 5 at 11:30 a.m.

 

ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 2, 2018—Montgomery County Council President Hans Riemer will meet with members of the media on Monday, February 5 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss key issues concerning the Council and its respective committees.  He also will discuss the County’s capital budget, a new County economic development incentive for craft breweries, wineries, cideries and distilleries, state legislation on Metro funding and board membership, and the Council’s State Legislative Program Meeting that will focus on the expected financial impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and efforts to mitigate the tax burden projected for Maryland residents because of this new federal tax law.          

Council President Riemer’s meeting with members of the media will be in the fourth floor conference room of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville.  

Council President Riemer meets regularly with members of the media to preview the Council’s weekly activities and discuss local issues. Most meetings are held on Mondays.
