Montgomery Council President Riemer to meet with media on
Monday, Feb. 12 at 11:30 a.m.
ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 9, 2018—Montgomery County Council President Hans Riemer will meet with members of the media on Monday, February 12 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss the Council’s ongoing review of the County’s capital budget and preview proposed zoning changes that will be introduced, at the request of the County Executive, regarding the placement of telecommunications antennas. He also will share information from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority on its upcoming review of enhanced service options along Metro’s Red Line from Shady Grove to Grosvenor.
Council President Riemer’s meeting with members of the media will be in the fourth floor conference room of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville.
Council President Riemer meets regularly with members of the media to preview the Council’s weekly activities and discuss local issues. Most meetings are held on Mondays.
