The doors will open at 7 p.m. The meeting will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. and conclude at 9 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to ask questions on any issue. Among the issues likely to be raised are those concerning schools, transportation, public safety and the County’s capital and operating budgets.
“Getting to meet with residents where they live is one of the best parts of my job,” said Council President Riemer. “The Council is committed to making sure that residents have easy ways to reach out to their local representatives. Town hall meetings are a great way for Councilmembers to hear what’s going on at the neighborhood level.”

The meeting is open to all County residents. Susan Kenedy, communications specialist and senior producer for the County Council, will moderate the meeting.

The meeting will be recorded and rebroadcast at various times on County Cable Montgomery (CCM), which can be found on cable Channels 996 (high definition) and 6 (standard definition) on Comcast, Channels 1056 (HD) and 6 (SD) on RCN and Channel 30 on Verizon.
