Single Lane Closures Planned for March 19 to 22 on Rockville Pike between Woodmont Avenue and Chestnut Street

On Monday, March 19 through Thursday, March 22, the southbound and northbound LEFT lanes will be closed, weather permitting, on Rockville Pike between Chestnut Street and Woodmont Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to demolish and replace the center island at the Woodmont Avenue intersection.

 

MCDOT is beginning construction of Intersection Improvements at Rockville Pike/Jones Bridge Road/Center Drive (National Institutes of Health (NIH)) and at Rockville Pike/Woodmont Avenue. Weather conditions permitting, single lane closures are planned on weekdays only during March and April for construction of MCDOT’s MD 355 (Rockville Pike) Crossing Project at the Medical Center Metro Station.
