US 29 Open Houses RESCHEDULED

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Two US 29 Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) open houses planned for March 20 and 21 have been postponed due to expected inclement weather. They have been rescheduled to:

• April 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Blair High School, Cafeteria, 51 University Blvd East, Silver Spring, and

• April 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the White Oak Community Center, Social Hall, 1700 April Lane, Silver Spring

   

  The open houses are an opportunity to learn more about the US 29 BRT project.  Find out how BRT will operate along the corridor, how existing local bus service can better link with the US 29 BRT, about efforts to incorporate art into station designs, and view updates to the station area designs including approximate right-of-way.
