The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will be working on road projects, beginning Friday, April 27, that will affect Montgomery County travelers. Some projects may require additional lane closure times and hours to keep projects on schedule.

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) at MD 28 (Norbeck Road). Intersection reconstruction project. Intermittent ingle left and right lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late spring 2018.

• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) at Randolph Road. Interchange construction project. Intermittent single and double left and right lane closures on both roads, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through year end 2018.

• MD 124 (Woodfield Road) from Watkins Road to Woodfield School Road. Resurfacing project. Single northbound and southbound lane closures with flagging operation, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through late spring 2018.

• MD 193 (University Boulevard) from the ramps to I-495 (Capital Beltway) to MD 320 (Piney Branch Road). Safety and resurfacing project. Single and double eastbound and westbound lane closures, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Friday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late spring 2018.

• MD 320 (Piney Branch Road) at Sligo Creek Parkway. Bicycle path/pedestrian bridge construction project. Single eastbound lane closure, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late spring 2018.

• MD 320 (Piney Branch Road) from MD 193 (University Boulevard) to MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue/ Safety and resurfacing project. Intermittent single and double lane closures, weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late spring 2018.

• MD 586 (Viers Mill Road) from MD 193 (University Boulevard) to MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) and from Rock Creek Bridge to MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue). Safety and resurfacing project. Intermittent single lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., single and double eastbound and westbound lane closures, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and weekends, Friday night at 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. Monday morning through late summer 2018.

• I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) from Watkins Mill Road to Great Seneca Creek Crossing. Interchange construction project. Intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2020.

• I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) from MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) to MD 109 (Old Hundred Road). Guardrail installation and storm drain work. Single northbound and southbound lane and ramp closures with detours, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late spring 2018.

• I-370 (Sam Eig Highway) from Fields Road to the I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) ramps. Resurfacing project. Intermittent single and double left and right eastbound and westbound overnight lane closures, Sunday through Friday, 8 p.m. through 6 a.m. through early summer 2018.

• Inner and outer loops of I-495 (Capital Beltway) from MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) to MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue). Bridge rehabilitation project. Intermittent left and right lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through year end 2018.

• Outer loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) from Seminary Road to the I-270 (Eisenhower Highway) split. Safety and resurfacing project. Intermittent left and right lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through summer 2018.

• Inner loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) between MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) and MD 355 (Wisconsin Avenue). Bridge cleaning and maintenance project. Intermittent single lane closures, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late spring 2018.

• Inner/outer loop of I-495 from MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) to MD 355 (Wisconsin Avenue). Bridge cleaning and painting project. Single lane closures, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late spring 2018.

• Inner loop I-495 ramp to southbound New Hampshire Avenue. Ramp reconstruction project. Intermittent partial and full ramp closures with detour, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2018.

• Seminary Road from Hale Street to MD 192 (Forest Glen Road). Bridge rehabilitation project. Intermittent left and right single northbound and southbound lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through year end 2018.
