Opening of Long Branch Outdoor Pool Delayed Further

For Immediate Release: Friday, June 8, 2018

The opening of the Long Branch Outdoor Pool, located at 8700 Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring, has been delayed.  

While working to complete repairs to the pool, contractors found additional structural issues. Those repairs are underway, and the Department expects that work to be completed later this month, weather permitting. As the work progresses, a more specific date for the pool’s opening will be released.
