Department of the Navy to Hold Public 'Scoping' Meeting on Proposed Construction at Walter Reed Campus

The Department of the Navy invites the public to attend a scoping meeting on the proposed construction of a multistory education and research laboratory and a parking garage at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Naval Support Activity Bethesda, Walter Reed campus. 

 

The Navy is preparing an environmental assessment and traffic study, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, to evaluate the potential effects associated with the proposed construction.

 

The meeting will be on July 12, 5 to 7 p.m., at the National 4-H Conference Center, 7100 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase.
