MCDOT Seeks Proposals to Redevelop Site of Public Parking Garage in Bethesda

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, July 25, 2018

MCDOT is seeking proposals from qualified teams to redevelop Public Parking Garage 47 in the Bethesda Parking Lot District, located at the intersection of Montgomery Avenue and Waverly Street. The proposal seeks development ideas for the portion of the property that includes the 365-space, public parking garage on the east side. A second public parking garage located on the west side of Waverly Street and the air rights connection are not a part of the proposal.  However, MCDOT will review offerings that include a phased development of both the east and west sides.
