Lane Closures Planned for Next Week on Rockville Pike

One southbound lane on Rockville Pike will be closed Monday through Thursday, August 27 to 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Center Drive (National Institutes of Health) and Woodmont Avenue, weather and work conditions permitting.

 

There also will be overnight southbound lane closures next week on Rockville Pike: 

• Sunday-Thursday, August 26 to 28, 9 p.m.to 5 a.m., along varying lanes near the intersection of Rockville Pike, Jones Bridge Road and Center Drive. 

• Wednesday, August 29, 9 p.m.to 5 a.m., between National Institutes of Health Gateway Drive and South Drive. 

These lane closures are necessary to reconstruct sidewalks and storm sewers where roadway and pedestrian improvements have been made at the intersection of Rockville Pike at Woodmont Avenue and Center Drive.
