MCDOT Wins $300,000 Maryland Bikeways Program Grant 

MCDOT has won a $300,000 Maryland Bikeways Program grant to prepare a final design for the Emory Lane and Muncaster Mill Road Shared Use Path. The one-half mile, 10-foot-wide path will be located along Emory Lane between Holly Ridge Road and Muncaster Mill Road (MD 115) at the proposed North Branch Trail, and along Muncaster Mill Road between Emory Lane and Rock Creek Regional Park.  

The project will provide safer bicycle and pedestrian access between the ICC (InterCounty Connector) bike path along Georgia Avenue and the proposed North Branch Trail and Rock Creek Regional Park.
