Montgomery County Summer Camps Registration Opens Jan. 22

Montgomery County Recreation and Montgomery Parks are hosting hundreds of fun and exciting camps that promote active and healthy lifestyles for children this summer. Camp registration opens at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 22 via ActiveMONTGOMERY.org, the registration and facility reservation system shared by Montgomery Parks, Montgomery County Recreation and Community Use of Public Facilities.

County camps are affordable, convenient and tailored to a variety of interests. Take advantage of early bird registration through April 5 and receive $25 off select camps. Summer camps include aquatics, arts, cooking, nature exploration, sports and more.

To view the guide and register online, go to ActiveMONTGOMERY.org. Customers can search summer camps by activity, date, age, location and cost.

Print copies of the guide are available at Montgomery County community recreation centers, park facilities, aquatic centers and senior centers.

Registration is also available by mail, fax to 240-777-6818 or in person at most recreation and parks facilities including community recreation centers, ice rinks, tennis centers, aquatic facilities, the Montgomery County Recreation administrative office at 4010 Randolph Road in Silver Spring, and the Montgomery Parks Hillandale Park office at 10611 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring.

INCLUSIVE PROGRAMMING

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to register for programs offered by Montgomery County Recreation and Montgomery Parks. To facilitate inclusion, you may request auxiliary aids or services. Interpreters, Braille or large print, or other modifications should be requested prior to the start of programs. Early notification allows time to put modifications in place.
