Montgomery County Operations Weather Updates

For Immediate Release: Friday, February 1, 2019

Montgomery County Government will remain open according to normal operating schedules. Montgomery County Recreation is cancelling afternoon activities, classes and programs that begin after 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1. This is driven by the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) early dismissal decision due to the wintry weather.

Club Adventure participants must be picked up by 2 p.m.

Montgomery County Recreation facilities will remain open for drop-in activities only.

All school and community activities in MCPS buildings are cancelled. Administrative offices will remain open. Childcare programs in school buildings may remain open as scheduled. For community use activities in other County buildings, check the Community Use of Public Facilities website.
