ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 4, 2019—Councilmember Craig Rice will host a “Get to Know Your Montgomery County Department of Liquor Control” forum on Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Universities at Shady Grove (9630 Gudelsky Drive Building II: Bethesda/Gaithersburg Room, in Rockville). This event is free and all community members interested in learning more about the Department of Liquor Control (DLC) are welcome to attend.

During this meeting, residents will learn more about the role and purpose of the DLC, current and future initiatives, and its policies and support for local craft distributors.

“This event is a great opportunity for the community to hear about how the DLC currently operates and their implementation of new policies and initiatives to address past concerns,” said Councilmember Rice. “We want to hear your thoughts on how to further enhance and improve these services for our Montgomery County residents and business owners.”

Featured speakers include:
• Bob Dorfman, Director of DLC
• Kathie Durbin, Division Chief, Licensure, Regulation and Education at DLC
