Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro to meet with media on Feb. 11 at 11 a.m.

ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 7, 2019—Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro will meet with members of the media on Monday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. to discuss key issues concerning the Council and its respective committees. The topics that she will discuss include: the Council’s review of the Veirs Mill Corridor Master Plan; the Feb. 5 letter she sent to the Montgomery County Board of Education requesting renaming Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School in Silver Spring; and the Council’s work and anticipated vote on the Spending Affordability Guidelines for the county’s fiscal year 2020 operating budget.

Council President Navarro’s meeting with members of the media will be in the Potomac River Conference Room (number 6480) located on the sixth-floor of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville. Directions to the building can be found here.

Council President Navarro will meet regularly with members of the media to preview items on the Council’s upcoming agenda and discuss local issues.
