ROCKVILLE, Md., March 22, 2019—Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro will meet with members of the media on Monday, March 25 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss key issues concerning the Council and its respective committees. She will discuss the County’s Campaign Finance Program and the purpose of the March 26 public forum on this issue, the Council’s upcoming budget work, youth engagement in the County’s efforts to create a Racial Equity and Social Justice Policy, the State of Maryland’s Managed Lanes Study for I-495 and I-270 and the Council’s efforts to encourage transparency in the selection of the County’s next police chief.
Council President Navarro’s meeting with members of the media will be in the Potomac River Conference Room (number 6480) located on the sixth-floor of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville. Directions to the building can be found here.
Council President Navarro will meet regularly with members of the media to preview items on the Council’s upcoming agenda and discuss local issues.
