Sundown Road Closure in Laytonsville Scheduled for March 30

For Immediate Release: Friday, March 29, 2019

During the early morning hours on Saturday, March 30, MCDOT will close Sundown Road for replacement of a failing storm drain pipe. The location is one quarter mile east of Laytonsville Road and will commence at midnight tonight and extend into the midday hours on Saturday, at which time the road is expected to be fully reopened to traffic.

We apologize for the inconvenience. A detour route will be visibly marked along Laytonsville Road (MD Route 108) and Damascus Road (MD Route 650).
