‘Ride Smart’ Free Public Transit Training for Seniors Offered May 22-23

For Immediate Release: Thursday, May 2, 2019

Ride Smart, a program sponsored by MCDOT and JCA Connect-A-Ride, will offer a two-day workshop to help seniors develop confidence navigating Ride On and Metro public transit. The program, to be held at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, will include classroom training on the 22^nd, followed by a group bus ride and Metrorail ride on the 23^rd. Participants will receive a free senior SmarTrip card.
