Montgomery County Public Libraries Launches Method Test Prep

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, June 5, 2019

Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL), in partnership with Recorded Books, has launched Method Test Prep. Used by more than 1,000 schools around the world, Method Test Prep has helped hundreds of thousands of students achieve their standardized college admissions exam goals.

“MCPL has a strong commitment to supporting high school students in our community as they move towards higher education,” said MCPL Acting Director Anita Vassallo.  “Method Test Prep offers an additional, comprehensive tool for students that will provide a boost to those preparing for admission exams.”

Diagnostic evaluations, lessons, quizzes, and full-length exams help students navigate the SAT and ACT by focusing on both content and test-taking techniques. Students can also build their fundamental reading comprehension, grammar, and math skills. Each lesson is less than five minutes and contains examples. After the lesson there is a short quiz so students can practice the strategies they have learned. All quizzes contain immediate feedback including a video audio and written explanations.
