Forum at Potomac Community Recreation Center will
focus on healthy living for the brain and body
and avoiding financial abuse
ROCKVILLE, Md., Aug. 12, 2019—Council Vice President Sidney Katz and Councilmember Andrew Friedson will co-host a Senior Forum and Resource Fair on Thursday, Sept. 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Potomac Community Recreation Center. During the forum subject matter experts will speak with participants about topics including how to reduce the risk of dementia, fall prevention and detecting and avoiding financial abuse. The resource fair will give participants the opportunity to interact with a wide range of service providers about subjects including aging in place, preventing elder abuse, lifelong learning and transportation, among others.
The Potomac Community Recreation Center is located at 11315 Falls Road in Potomac.
