The following Maryland State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) projects may require additional work hours and lane closures, weather permitting, to keep all projects on schedule. Equipment used for construction may be disruptive. Real-time traffic information is available at www.chart.maryland.gov.

Eastbound MD 28 (West Montgomery Avenue) ramp to southbound I-270 (Eisenhower Highway).
Traffic barrier installation. Full ramp closure with detour Tuesday 8/13 at 9 p.m. through Friday 8/16 at 5 a.m. Drivers should consider MD 189 (Falls Road) as an alternate. (MO069)

MD 28 (Norbeck Road) from MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) to Bailey’s Lane.
Geometric roadway improvement project. Intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late summer 2020. (XX2295376R)

US 29 (Colesville Road) from MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) to St. Andrews Way.
Safety and resurfacing project. Intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through year-end 2019. (MO375)

Water utility relocation work. Intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through late fall 2019. (D3U)

Bridge rehabilitation project. Intermittent left and right single northbound and southbound lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through year-end 2019. (MO580)

Steel beam setting. Intermittent single double, triple and full traffic stops, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late fall 2019. (MO580)

Please find below MDOT SHA District 3 deep inlet cleaning project locations for Montgomery County between now year-end 2019. To complete work for these locations, intermittent mobile lane closures and work times are permissible weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Saturday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Additional intermittent mobile lane closures and work times may be needed to complete all phases of work. Equipment used for construction may be disruptive. All work will be performed by MDOT SHA’s contractor, DBI Services of Harmans, MD.
