The Montgomery County Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. on the following bill:
Expedited Bill 40-19, Inspector General – Staff – Amendments, would authorize the Inspector General to hire one or more deputies as a term merit employee; authorize the Inspector General to hire other staff of the Office as a merit employee; and generally amend the law governing the staff of the Inspector General.
The public hearing will be held in the Third Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building, which is located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville. The meeting will be televised live by County Cable Montgomery (CCM) on Xfinity channels 6 and 996, RCN channels 6 and 1056; and FiOS channel 30. It also will be available live via streaming through the Council website at http://tinyurl.com/z9982v8
