Montgomery County Recreation's Summer Camp Fair Set for Jan. 25

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, January 14, 2020

Montgomery County Recreation is hosting a free Summer Camp Fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Wheaton Community Recreation Center, 11701 Georgia Avenue, Wheaton.

The Summer Camp Fair is designed to assist families who are looking for summer camp opportunities for their children. Parents will have an opportunity to meet with recreation camp staff and instructors; ask questions; participate in demonstrations; and register their children for camp. Information on financial aid will also be available.

“Montgomery County Recreation is proud to once again be hosting a summer camp fair,” said Montgomery County Recreation Director Robin Riley. “This is a great opportunity to meet our instructors and learn about our great lineup of summer camps.”

The Summer Camp Fair will include fun activities for the whole family, free raffles and giveaways. Bring your camera! Montgomery County Recreation’s mascot, T-Rec, will also be at the fair.

Montgomery County Recreation provides hundreds of affordable, quality summer camp programs at convenient locations throughout the County. Parents are encouraged to plan early for the summer months as many camps fill up quickly.
