MCDOT Postpones April 6 Public Hearing About Proposed Abandonment of a Portion of Kensington Boulevard in Wheaton

For Immediate Release: Thursday, April 2, 2020

In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis and out of an abundance of caution, Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has decided to postpone the public forum on the proposed abandonment of a portion of Kensington Boulevard in Wheaton, which was scheduled for 7:35 p.m. on Monday, April 6, at the Executive Office Building in Rockville. 

MCDOT intends to reschedule the public hearing as a virtual hearing where residents will have a chance to present oral and/or written comments online. The new hearing date will be announced once it is scheduled.
