Council continues to accept testimony for FY21 Operating Budget Transportation Fees, Charges, and Fares

ROCKVILLE, Md., April 28, 2020—The Montgomery County Council will hold a worksession on the Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Recommended Operating Budget on transportation fees, charges, and fares this Thursday, April 30. The Council held a public hearing on this topic on April 21 and there were no speakers, but it is still accepting public testimony as they continue its budget deliberations.

The deadline to submit public testimony to be included in the record is April 30 by 12 p.m. Testimony may be submitted to Glenn Orlin at Glenn.Orlin@montgomerycountymd.gov.

Community members also have the option to provide audio, video and written testimony to the Council using a recently developed online testimony form on the Council's web page which can be found at https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/COUNCIL/PHSignUp.html. The testimony provided with the online option carries the same weight as testimony given at a public hearing. Councilmembers consider all comments as part of their deliberations.
