For Immediate Release: Wednesday, May 27, 2020
“The Nicholson Court Depot team is Ride On’s frontline essential workers, keeping our buses staffed and moving,” said MCDOT Director Chris Conklin. “As Ride On’s schedules have been modified to meet the changing needs of residents during the pandemic, this team, along with our other bus depots, have shown great flexibility and been instrumental in ensuring that transit is still available for the residents who are most in need of the service. We are proud of them and all of MCDOT’s employees who have risen to the challenges of continuing to provide essential services during these difficult times.”
MCDOT’s James Arias recommended the Nicholson Court Depot team to receive this recognition. Arias said, “I am a Transit Operations Supervisor out of Nicholson Court Depot. This pandemic has put the world in a whirlwind, but we won’t stop, and we will keep going. I would like to thank all the hard work and dedication from the operators, coordinators and mechanics at our depot. They sacrifice every day to make sure we provide the needed service to the public. Please take a minute to compliment County employees for doing a ‘Great Job.’”
