Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will host a virtual town hall, via Zoom, for child care providers on Monday, June 22 from 6 to 7 p.m. Providers will hear updates on the County’s reopening and recovery plans. Elrich will be joined by Maryland State Department of Education’s Assistant State Superintendent Steven Hicks, County Health Officer Dr. Travis Gayles and Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Caroline Sturgis to answer questions and provide information about how the County will continue to support quality early child care and education. The town hall will be moderated by Jennifer Arnaiz, manager of the County’s Child Care Resource and Referral Center.
