For Immediate Release: Tuesday, June 23, 2020
On June 23, from 7 to 9 p.m., Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) and Montgomery Planning staff will hold a virtual community meeting about the Complete Streets Design Guide that will feature a presentation on the draft guide and provide interactive ways for the public to comment.
Complete Streets is a new approach to designing and operating roads in Montgomery County that provides safe, accessible, and healthy travel for all users of the roadway system, including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit riders and motorists. The design guide is the result of a partnership between MCDOT and Montgomery Planning and is an important tool in supporting Montgomery County’s Vision Zero Action Plan.
