Healthy Montgomery and the Commission on Health invite residents to a virtual conversation, The Impact of COVID-19 on Mental Health, on Monday, July 20 from 5 to 6 p.m. Moderator Dr. Chris Rogers, policy and strategy officer for Montgomery County Health and Human Services’ Public Health Services will talk with Dr. Neda Gould, associate director of the Johns Hopkins-Bayview Anxiety Disorders Clinic about managing grief and dealing with anxiety and depression related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will learn mindfulness and stress reduction techniques to help with coping and discover the best time to seek help when dealing with anxiety and depression.
