MCDOT, in Partnership with the Bethesda Urban District, Invites the Public to August 19 Online Listening Session on Public Parking Lots 25 and 44 Request for Development Proposal

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, August 18, 2020

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) operates public parking in the Bethesda Parking Lot District (PLD) managing publicly owned on-street parking meters, lots and garages. The two parking lots currently under consideration for development for alternative uses are located just east of Wisconsin Avenue, between Maple Avenue and Chase Avenue.

An upcoming virtual listening session will be about parking Lot 25 (Maple Avenue Lot) and Lot 44 (West Virginia Avenue Lot) and will include a brief presentation on the Request for Proposal process. Local businesses and residents will have an opportunity to offer feedback and suggestions and submit recommendations prior to the release of the Request for Development Proposal. 
 
The listening session will be held Wednesday, August 19, beginning at 7 p.m. on Microsoft Teams:
