Two Lanes on Westbound Intercounty Connector to be Temporarily Closed During Daytime Hours for Maintenance Activities on Wednesday, Aug. 19

Montgomery County drivers who use the westbound Intercounty Connector (MD 200) between Georgia Avenue (MD 97) and Shady Grove Road will be impacted by Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) maintenance activities from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday Aug. 19. The two left lanes from mile marker 6.5 to mile marker 4.5 will be closed during that time, with only one lane remaining open.

The work will be performed weather permitting. Crews will be performing lighting repairs and maintenance activities.
